Jackson City Library is proud to announce that they have Fletcher Benton works on display in the new art exhibit area of the library!
Fletcher Benton (born February 25, 1931 in Jackson, Ohio) was an American sculptor and painter from San Francisco, California. Benton is widely known for his kinetic art as well as his large-scale steel abstract geometric sculptures. The library has had a Fletcher Benton sculpture on display since 1994. The library is honoring the work of Benton by displaying 7 works on loan from the Lillian Jones Museum as well as various photographs and stories. Please feel free to stop in and take a look!
